Meet Julian

Hello there. I am Julian Innes who is one of the part time members of staff. I work through the front shop as I am not to be trusted with any of the tools!

I started work at Bikes of Inverness in 2016 having retired from the Police after thirty years of public service.

I am relatively new to cycling having gone and bought a road bike to take part in the Bealach Mor, after making a commitment during a few glasses of red in 2006. I am not a racer but love riding a bike for fun, exercise and general well being. Working here is not really like work, more of a social club as I get to know regular customers.

I enjoying talking to folk about bikes, picking up a few tips and passing some on, remembering that we all have to start somewhere.

I currently ride a Specialised Sirrus, which I use to and from work, an S Works Roubaix on the road and a Fixie for a bit of fun when the sun is out.

There are another couple of bikes in the garage but when asked at home I pretend I do not know how they got there.
When not cycling I am in Ballantynes gym or on the golf course.
